This is an entry to the Christmas Past contest at TEG http://p200.ezboard.com/btheeclecticguild
Although I know very well that people do still go and cut their trees, generally in Canada, we buy the tree at Canadian Tire or the tree lot at Zhers.Still I do like the thought if not the practice of trudging through snow to find the perfect tree.

I certainly remember going out to the countryside to find a tree and dragging it home, but that was many many years ago. You've certainly recaptured a wonderful time in the past...beautifully done Susan and Good Luck!

Yeah, sure! The "perfect tree"! Until ya get it home...stand it in the corner...and when ya get up the next day...notice bald spots all over the darn thing! ROFL! My Christmas Past experiences aside '-)...this is a beautiful piece of work, Susan! AND the details? right down to the sled tracks are excellent!!

I like the snow blend very much and the setup of the image is very well spaced and the characters placed to offer balance right down to the lil rabbit.
