The frame is perectly ok. I love this picture. I wonder how it would have looked if the sun were in the left or right frame instead of the centre frame. Of course, you would have thought of that. Excellent take!

Not really. I like doing this with frames too.Image is perfect for it. The font SHINE is a little dramatic.I think it overpowers the good job you did in compo.

trees are so beautiful naked, intricate in their web of limbs, the sun really brings that out, luv the split into 3 framing, looks quite cool here & agree on a dif choice of font in the title :]
