Description

This is a quick Lightwave render of some buildings produced by Liteluvr. These are for use in a short film I'm doing. I've also got Liteluvr's Cathedral Creation kit, which rocks. Anyhow, I plan on dirtying up the textures a little with Bodypaint from Maxon, and I'm going to be putting crap like barrels and trash in the street. However, beyond that, I'm not sure where to go. What settings could make the image cooler? Is it too dark? I'm going for a sullen, cold feel. Sky is Ozone 2.0. Thanks!

Maybe a torch or two on the walls could improve the mood, with a little orange light.

puddles of water. rain. people respond to wet, even visually. I'd also change one of the signs, make a different shape. make it broken, or leave just a chain to suggest a noose. nice job.

I recommend looking at the images of svenart, he's done a terrific job on a similar series... lots to be learned there.
