Description

Touchdown ! finally. The first landing of a reusable orbital spacecraft on Mars. Utopia base is visible in the background. A cozy home for the travelers after a 3 months journey in a metallic can. LW7.5 + Minor retouching in PSD. The dust effect is pure hypervoxel. Allright, now it's time to come back to Olympus to see what's going on with the glider (cf. previous pictures).

Vote!! I had to look up "hypervoxel" LOL. Lets say this scene is ... "magnificent", exceptionally well done & super lighting effects!! :-) Now I know what hypervoxel is too. some day I gotta learn to use my lightwave I guess. Thank you for sharing your fantasy views of Mars. Dwayne

Beautiful landing... and terrific use of HV's. The crisp quality of lighting here is very cool.
