Description
Artemis was the Ancient goddess of Moon, hunting and forest. She remained virgin as Pallas Athena, protected young animals and hunted under the moonlight with remarkable dextrerity. She was matron at the same time of her birth, and was thus goddess of fertility and fecundity.
