If the centre stone/gem is emitting the light the shadow is wrong on the vase. Try using some different materials and shapes.

i agree with turner, the thumbnail has an appealing look, but the larger version loses it, the shadow is completely wrong, should be behind the vase. the vase texture and coloring compete with the light, it would have a more etherial look with a sold color, try again the spacing is good for the drama of looking into the light, i hope this might enhance and not hinder
