Description
Thought I'd break out of my "Hot Rod" mold and do a classic race car. This is all I've got so far, some very early renders.
The big challenge I see in this project is: how do I do all the louvers all over this curved body?
And I have to remember the Driver's wheel is on the wrong side :)

This is coming along very nicely. The only helpful hint I can offer is to crank down the blue just a bit. :o)

Well modeling those louvres or air-intakes is a big prolem in LW - for me that is. That's why I always model "technical" things in other packages and then export it to LW. Packages that can do those louvres in no time are Solid Edge, Solid Works, Pro-E etc. They got those Louvre things built in as a tool ;o) I worked with Solid Edge for a few years and that changes your way of modeling just a little bit. Anyway the model looks great ... keep at it.
