Description

The headline in the paper reads "Moon Factory gets the go-ahead" The last few pictures I've posted were from Summerlee park in Coatbridge near Glasgow. There,s a little row of old miners cottages that have been beautifully preserved. Each house is laid out in successive decades from the turn of the century up to the sixties. They all seem quite quaint and homely, until you read that children were down the mines at age 6 and it wasn't unusual to have 20 people living in each little house. Whats even worse is there was no Renderosity AAAAHHHHH!!!!

This is a great place and an excellent series, love the brass on the fireplace (I remember them) and the old biscuit tin. Lovely nostalgic imagery

I have the exact same reel to reel tape recorder as that one lol and it works perfectly. Sony TC-377 with a plastic front cover to protect from the dust. Andre Kostelanetz, I remember him. News paper nicely folded, slippers placed side by side. Looks great in black and white.

Very good photo. I really like every single detail. Ok, I would prefer a Jimi Hendrix record showing there... ;-)The B&W was a good choice.
