for until this war ends there is no more time.
First time for me anywhere outside the beginners gallery and the forum. I have received some helpful comments in the forum, but would appreciate any others. Am not happy with a lot of things in this image, but need some help to correct them.

I am certainly no expert as I am just learning myself, but from drawing with oils, I can tell you what I know. This is a good concept to work on. Their poses are a bit "wooden" (for want of a better word) and could be more relaxed: think coy when you pose her (like maybe peeking at him from under her lashes, and the fan closer to her chest), and think gallant when you pose him (he is bowing formally, but also looking into her eyes...a bit less formally). Their eyes could be more targeted to each other. Just some thoughts. Like the hair though! (my current personal frustration) :-)
