Hi all. I have been posting in 'beginners' for the last 14 months of using Terragen and this is the first time I have had the courage to share with the grown-ups.

I never look into the Beginner's section due to lack of time - good choice of releasing images in the terragen section. Water and sky are good. The surface could need a few more layers. Turn in the rendersettings - second tab - the gamma correction to 1 and pull up the sun's strength to get good lighting and strong colours :-)

I like the perspective, and the water is great. Lovely clouds and colors, and the lower surface- especially close to the water, is very nice!

Well done - I was afraid you wouldn't join the grown-up before getting your bus pass! Anyway, great sea and sky, but the textures on the rocks need a little work. (And I noticed the stripes.)

After all this time I have finally re-posted this taking into account Haroon's comments about the gamma settings. This is one of the best pieces of Tgen advice I have ever received and, since this image, do it all the time. It really makes a big difference! Oh well, back to the future . . .
