Ready or Not... Here they come!!
Here is the first lineup for my series of Sci-fi images along with their vehicle. I have been working on this image all day and finally said, "enough!". Had I done that with thanksgiving dinner I might not have the tummy ache I do right now! But more than the tummy ache is driving me nuts, I have noticed in my last few images in P5, I HAVE NO SHADOWS. The Only shadows on this image are under the spacecraft and were faked up. Is there something obvious that I am doing wrong? Is it the ray tracing? Heeelllllppppp!!!

Well, as you know, I only have P4, so I'm afraid I can't help!! I know Bryce uses raytracing, and some textures take shadows better than others, but I don't think that's the problem here!! Once again, you are doing such wonderful textures on these models, and I love the way the 'bot is mimicking her pose!!! EXCELLENT work!!!

Can't help you with the shadows. I have P4 PP. You can try adding some shadows in PS. Duplicate the layer, grab the burn tool with a setting of 12 and a soft brush. Burn away :) tell you get the look you want. Excellent sci-fi. Bravo!! huge hugz and kisses

Check each of your lights and that the shadows option is checked under the light properties. Also make sure that your cast shadows option is checked under render options. Awesome scene!!!

Uh ... hey? 8-O Excellent shot; I love the color coordination, too. I can't wait to see them inside the DART and D-Spot poking his head up against the window :-D. Can't tell you about the shadow problem; I use P4 and only grudgingly (usually just for testing) do I fire up P5. Are you using the Firefly or the P4 renderer? Could it be something as simple as "Render Options-Cast Shadows? (I know I've made that mistake a couple times, with much hair pulling, and finally a heartfelt, "Doh!!" ) Well, even though you forgot me, I rated this, "Excellent." :-D I'm looking forward to the next one!

I have had trouble with shadows disappearing before, but never pursued a solution. your characters and space ship are outstanding. Your long hours are showing in the quality.vote

This is just so kewl. Love the lil critter and robot too. Terrific work. As for the shadows do what msebonyluv said to do. You have to have the complete scene for the shadows to work.
