Description

It was a very clear November night(13/Nov/2004). I took this picture in my Garden. It shows the starconstellation of the Cassiopeia and an edge of the Milky way. I was very surprised to find this on my picture after some postwork in light and contrast. It looks really like in space. Exposing time: 30 sec. (ISO 400, F 3.5 ). Camera: Minolta Dimage Z1 Postwork in light and contrast. Thanks for looking and your interest. Have a nice weekend! Best, Reinhard

Nice shot - You've also managed to capture what's known as "The Double Cluster" (NGC884 and NGC869) in the constellation of Perseus. In your shot, it appears as two close stars about a third of the way up from the bottom and about a third of the way from the left margin. Take a look there through a pair of binoculars and you'll get a gorgeous view. Thanks for sharing.

You're correct, your postwork makes it appear as though it is a deep space photo...quite impressive. I really enjoy this type of work. Excellent job, well done.

ahem, again, amazed by this radical work... Where the hell do you live to get STARS in the sky !!?? You sure you're on earth ? No, that's impossible... this shot must have been taken in deep space, big liar :-] woops, sorry, didn't read that you actually wanted it to look like a taken-from-space photo ;o). just kidding xD I'm impressed.
