Description

I am in the process of archiving some 30Gb of work files I have had mounting up over the last year or so, and subsequently I am finding a few images I thought I'd post here! - this is one frame (of nine) from a proposal storyboard for TV advertising. The company in question produce water filters/purifiers etc. The scene has no lights whatsoever, and is 'lit' only in reflection of luminant planes and panels placed around it. ..oh, and the heart is the same one I made for the 'I Love Beer' image - always nice when you can re-use a previous asset! ;) Modeled in Cinema 4D 8.5XL :)

Send this to Maxon. Very realistic. Well, apart from the heart shaped blob. ;) Gets my vote.

The heart shaped drop of water is really a nice touch. Your abilities in lighting and materials settings are top knotch Adam...This is very pleasing to the eye. Ryan-

Thanks guys! - it came out better than I expected. As for the lighting - I started out with lights, but I realised that they were having no effect since the water was 100% transparent and fairly reflective, and as I was using luminant planes to emulate studio photography like in the reference pics I was given, I just turned them off. :)
