What the first guy said and the guy after him and what the other guy said and the one after him and yes the guy after him, but longpod... man just take it for what it is. A most excellent job and enjoy....there's too many rights in this image for bother looking for anything wrong.

Thanks for all the comments. This is the result of no sleep over the Thanksgiving Holiday. I have probably spent more time on the lighting than anything else. I have also made use of the excellent color mapping plug-in. It really does make a difference for interior scenes in Cinema. The flooring material is actually a very good one. I think it just needs more anti-aliasing. It is already set to 2x2 4x4. I am beginning to agree with you on the floor mats - not sure if I like them or not..... Thanks again!

The floor mats give it just the right "lived in" feel. The floor tex looks fine to me. This is one of the best things i've seen here for a long time. (the only place the illusion breaks down for me is the knobs on the cabinets). Great work.

I am using 3 area lights at the windows with soft shadows. These are illuminating an adjoining sun room. I also have the 7 can lights turned on..... These are spot lights with soft shadows.... All lights are using inverse square fall-off and the diffuse depth of the radiosity solution is set to 6. The rendering took only 70 minutes using compositing tags for increased accuracy on the walls and ceiling. The global setting for accuracy was only 20%.....

I had to double take to make sure this wasn't a photo, awesome work! There are a few giveaways that it's actually CG, but I'm not gonna complain.
