I just got this figure completed and made some renders.... thought I'd share them. :) Daz Freak used for base figure - parts modeled in Max - rendered in poser ProPack.

Yeah! It's a good render. Very good use of the FREAK. I'm hoping that if they do another X-Men movie they have him in it for far longer than they did the last one.

Not crazy about the whole "Ultimates" thing, but it's always cool to see Colossus. The only distracting thing are the "floating" straps on his shoulders. Otherwise, sha-WEET!

thanks all! in regard to the floating straps.... it's necessary to leave some play between figure and accessories, especially when they are non-bending, non-conforming accessories. that way as you pose the figure, there is less chance of poke through. The other alternative is to use a texture to simulate the straps, but that really looks cheezy in most cases. the composited images have no postwork at all, which is my preference. :)
