This has more background than I prefer, but I liked the piece and thought a colored or textured background would have shifted the focus. XD and PSP. Thanks for looking and any comments.

I don't feel the background is excessive, but you are right that a textured on would have detracted form the main image. Fantastic job.

Aaah, you found the boy king's favorite spinning top. You're right about texture, but maybe a different color would compliment the piece. Basic black does go with just about everything and usually provides wonderful contrast, but experimenting might come up with something.

Wonderful design and color! I think the black really allows us to appreciate the beauty the form....cool frame too!

I'm sure this was King Tut's favorite childlhood toy. It reminds me of an early version of the gyroscope. I love the colors.
