I tried stitching images together using a program, but never got the desired results. The images were usually complicated and the program chopped important bits out. However, having said all of that I am sure they've come on a long way since I last used one. In "Is it a burial site or a by-pass?" I had to use sections from eight images, and not stitch them ad-hoc. You finished up with an excellent image of a very interesting subject!!!
