Looks as though you're getting your viewings now. Very creative how you got your textures for this (thanks for sharing that). Not a bad start. I think you should keep doing more images and keep posting them - listen to the few who give you feedback and don't worry about ratings for now. For this image, I like the title, and the concept. I would probably give the bricks more of a bump map so they don't look so flat, and I'd turn down the lights to make the image scarier. Leave the light above the doorway bright (like it is) and turn down the other lighting. I don't know 3DSMax, but in true space you can get this look from the ambience (or luminosity) property of the texture you applied - so you might want to look at that. As for the composition, maybe you could give us some clue of what the building is, and is the creature going in to it (spooky if it's an apartment where people or sleeping) or coming out of it (Spooky if it's a back exit from a government lab, or some such). Of course, if you want something more humorous, Atwistedperson has a great suggestion about the sledge hammer - for a tie in with the title. The important thing is - Don't get discouraged! The creature design is good. And the basic concept is good. Actually I really like stuff like this, so whether you rework this image or start on something new, I hope you'll continue.
