I think this is a good work, but I'm sorry, i wondering this is a top 20 terragen work! the texturing is not so realistic, the resolution is just sufficent and the jpeg artifacts are noisy. IMHO This is only my opinion. A TOP 20 work should be perfect in Ter, Atmo,lighting, texturing, resolution, POV and overall feeling, and this isnt perfect in all this expect!

I choose not to show my work on Renderosity because I don't like the gallery system here and because, surprise-surprise, I don't like the voting and hot 20 system! That doesn't mean I won't try to do my part to make it more fair. I visit the TG gallery here once every single day and vote for the (usually few) images that I think are deserving of the Hot 20. I make a point to view every single newly posted image, and can only do that because I visit daily and am on broadband. I understand not everyone can do that, but just sticking to viewing a few "known" artist's images is not fair to others. I also try to view lesser-known artist's work and vote it into the Hot 20 if it is deserving. Too often the Hot 20 simply because a "famous face" gallery. As to who I am and my real name, I am Oshyan Greene, you can view my website at http://oshyan.ashundar.com as hillrunner said, and you can search Google for Oshyan or JavaJones to see how long I have been in the Terragen community and how I tend to participate. In the end we're all free to choose who we think deserves to be in the Hot 20, but it seems fairly obvious to me and apparently many others that some people - while they may be voting for some images that they think are deserving - are not viewing all images on a level playing field, and are voting at least as much on the person as on the image. I don't think this is fair or honorable. Snow Angel is a capable artist, but she doesn't need friends propping her up. She has no control over how her friends vote, but do you have control over how you vote. Just make sure that vote counts. The best way to do that is view as much of the new gallery work as you can before making your decisions.
