Description

Sometimes I`ll frame one of my pics and hang it on the wall. Sad, innit? Anyway, I`m not spending a fortune on a frame so I usually get old framed pictures from the local car boot sale. Trouble is, of course, the picture in the frame is more often than not, a nicer one than mine. But they can be a source of inspiration. This one was inspired by, but is no means a copy of, "Greenock by Lamplight" by John Atkinson Grimshaw. (Greenock is in Scotland, birthplace of Cap`n Kidd the pirate) Transponds Whitechapel set Masts from Jedswindells Clipper Wish I could remember who made the Hansom cab. Thanks to them and to all those who`s work I used. And thanks to you for viewing. Edit. Oh pooh, I forgot to enable comments.

Excellent!! Wonderful use of the Whitechapel set. This reminds me of somewhere I've been recently....some old village in Wales I think ;-)

I'm a big sci-fi fan, but this is just so cool. I love the 3D depth (something that still eludes me) Very polished indeed!

This is beautiful Sam, unfortunately you won't see Greenock looking like this ever again. It looks more like a slum now, so sad. 8)

Very nice.. I like the atmosphere and the sense of "wet", something that's hard to reproduce in Bryce, or any 3D app...
