A mountain on fire. This is the same set of fires as my last couple of postings, but from the other side of the mountain this time and at night.

I remember this all too well... That was a scary time for us all, even those of us that were in relative safety in the valley itself. And the smoke and ash had lasting effects on many of us... It was shortly after this, I think, that my Mom started getting weaker and battling with her lungs.
