Description

Apophysis and The GIMP. The title characters unfortunately are not obvious at this low resolution, but it is a distant view....

Very beautiful image!!! Excellent artwork and symbolism!!! Alexander the Great is my childhood hero. I was reading his story since I could read. I am a Macedonian like him, raised very close to his birthplace. The movie Alexander was terrible. Oliver Stones version is a pro-gay rights love story that completely misses the meaning behind Alexander's life and legacy. The scenes were beautiful and the costumes were magnificent but the scenario is pointless and never explains why Alexander did all that he did. It's amazing how such an awesome story could be told so terribly. Its sad that some very good actors like Anthony Hopkins (as Ptolemy), got caught up in this empty film.
