Description

A WIP of part of a major sci-fi project. This is the primary weapon of a spaceship. While the scale is not apparent here, it is about one mile in length and capable of taking out a planet or de-stabilizing a minor sun. The blue plasma indicates the weapon's readiness to fire.

It does convey some sense of its intended size. I think that the blue plasma effect looks excellent. I will be looking forward to the full render that this is intended for.

This in some ways reminds me of the Star Trek Doomsday machine.. which I might add was one of the best ST episodes.

I LOVE this design! Very TOS style! I really want to animate this!! Is that Clay's fire texture? Or something similar? Makes a freaking fabulous energy texture!!!! Brilliance! I must try.....uh, oh yeah! Brilliance!!!
