Description
Another view of the Verzy forest in Champagne country.
On this photograph, you can see the only oak affected by the same genetic deformity which makes tortuous the beech trees of the forest. The little gnome, unique dweller of this oak... is Benjiboo!!!!

What an amazing tree, Christine. Great capture of it too. Looks like an ent from Lord of the Rings. Benjiboo may not be a gnome, but he certainly is 'dwarfed' by that 'ent. :))))

oh....what a special, magical capture, Christinie!!! sigh it's exquisite and this tree speaks to my heart. puts hand on trunk, ear to bark...listens I love how its gnarled and how it's surrounded by golden leaves which seem to be suspended in midair. sigh is that an opening in the tree? i give a good tree hug here, let my tears flow. now i go inside that special hiding spot in tree and read. thank you Miss Kiss for this magnificent capture! sigh vote!
