Excellent lighting and atmo; nothing wrong with this: it's an excellent pic! However if you're looking more a more realistic daytime desert setting, try orange sands against a royal to navy blue (near cloudless or totally cloudless) sky; low fog - you'll get some great contrasting colours: http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=601535&Start=109&Artist=EoinArmstrong&ByArtist=Yes

I love it, wouldn't change a thing except a little postwork sharpening, esp. in the foreground area. Atmo, rays and colors are all wonderful.
