Description

To make this watercolor I followed the instructions in a magazine called "Decorative Artist's Workbook", Sep. 2004 ed. (www.DecorativeArtist.com) The original artist and author of the article/tutorial "Take Flight" is Sandy Kinnamon. (www.sandykinnamon.com) I didn't exactly follow the instructions, but pretty close. The paint colors vary slightly, I used cold-pressed paper rather than hot-pressed illustration board, didn't use masking fluid, and I didn't trace the provided pattern. The original Artist's painting is much prettier than mine, as she is also much prettier than I.... Any suggestions for a beginner watercolor painter and/or comments are always appreciated. TY for looking, Peace :-)

Great picture, If you paint from a picture, Do your own thing, and then you will have your own picture. Just use it to get a idea.
