Description

Hi all Thank you for your comments on my last render. I was experimenting some surfaces and layers, any suggestions? Thank you.

Nice depth (although crop out the end of terrain blackness); nice terrain and interesting surface. Actually, from the thumbnail it kinda looks like a surface badly neglected pavement, with grass growing through old missing pieces!

This is very intriguing. You are on to something here. This is a style I have not yet seen here in the gallery. You should write a tutorial on how you achieved this effect. With some minor adjustments like lowering the fractal settings on the white surfaces and reducing the brightness of the white would improve this composition. To me, this is excellent + work!

I agree with Choronr. This something very unique and you should definitly pursue it. I really like this idea. You have something really productive going here. Exellent!!!!

Looks like it needs a bit of refining, but I still think it's awesome and has alot of potential.

get the scale right, refine a bit your surfaces, and you have a winner. This looks quite great as it is

Very, very interesting idea. How does it react to different lighting and atmo?

Interesting; viewed from a couple of thousand feet it's plateaus, mountains, and grassy plains; viewed from a couple of feet it's broken concrete infested with green slime. If it's the former and you zoom in closer the terrain and surfacing is going to get like my porridge - awfy lumpy. I like to think it's the latter, and as such it's an excellent likeness.

Your experimenting produced a very interesting surface. The sheen is almost like highly polished platinum. Excellent IMHO.
