Description

oil on canvas, 39 x 35.5 inches, two slashes of 6 inches/each This painting has been slashed by a Son of Satan who took me in captivity and troubled my soul for 6 years now.... So, please be aware and stay away from any kind of temptation or offer because the price and suffering will grow bigger and bigger in due time... ---------------------------------------- " The spirit will live, everything else will fall into the hands of Death." Durer Thank you for viewing.

A beautiful image Rodica- I love the colours, they work really well together. I just can't believe that some animal would want to slash your work......

...at least in 2D --the slash is rather well placed and doesn't detract from your painting( a little bas relief? ) --- not to make light of the culprit --- but your work shines on despite this act --- a beautiful piece that stimulates all manner of thoughts and feelings.

MASTERPIECE!!! Rodica, most important is that the painting survived the slashing. I would still exhibit it if it were me because of it's great power. You will become very collectible and any smart art collector would not let the slashing deter them from this Masterpiece. Keep painting and painting and painting! Oh, I placed my vote! I think is easy for me to feel your mud from your very good works. I am sure you remember sunny days, wood, singing birds. Don't forget time is not really lost, it means experience. Good and bad moments ... all means experience.

Interesting concept, time; whether wasted or not. Age old questions about time require resolution. What is time? Does it exist when nothing is changing? What gives time its arrow one way and not the other way? Is the future real? Is it sensible to speak of time flowing? Is the present an objective quality of reality or only a product of subjective experience? Son of Satan? Ive read (and it is also my experience) that half the people with whom one contacts throughout life lack a viable connection to the divine. They cant help it any more than they can choose eye or hair color. Its best to recognize energy sucking vampires for what they are and just move on. At least your paintings will remain intact. :-) The painting evokes a mood of inner turmoil that is externally amplified by the violence of the slash. This really is excellent and most competent work Rodica.
