Description

a nice colorful flame I thought was a lovely patern for embroidery work.. Creating the background like clothe for cross stitching it looked like some work my mom used to make and the stitch was so tiny that the colores seemed to flow together.. The Title of this picture refers to that kind of work she did and was called those days: Petite Point. So mom this is for you to show you how much I apreciated your work then already.

thank you for the tip Dindin.. see what happens if you live too long in the US "poit" I wrote the english way..."point" You mean to say people still have time for art like that, it requires lots of patience..

Oh yes, lots of people (even some guys) to petite point, Henny! I've even tried it with micro-beads; lovely art form, but takes way more patience and time than I have. This is a beautiful work of art and a faithful rendition of that wonderful form of embroidery. The bird heads are superb in form and color and the whole comes together in a lovely harmony and grace. I am frankly amazed at the magnificently crisp definition of your render (i.e. to preserve the woven nature of the background cloth) - awesome. Outstanding and very beautiful art tribute! VOTE

Don't have the patience for embroidery or cross stitching, but I admire it. So much work, and such beautiful results. This is a wonderful rendition of delicate embroidery. Beautiful
