Description
This is Rick's fault. He had to go and challenge me not to push the sphere button...
For what it's worth, TIA stands for Triangle Inequality Average. It lives in the UF standard folder. The fractal formula is the Julia that is also in the standard folder.
All of these images are spin offs from an image that was originally called Harry Hood which was on the cover on the 2004 Fractal Universe calendar. An improved version of this image is on the cover of the 2005 calendar. It is also a child of Harry.

These "Tia's" are knocking me OUT! They are so incredibly beautiful. Your spheres are still Primo. So when are you going to do a tutorial on 'sphere making'? I know one thing, you could walk me thru step by step, and I don't think I could ever make anything this beautiful. Few can.

Fantastic image, Kieth! I really love the smooth flowing line and the lighting in this one! Maybe one day I'll get UF, work like this is inspiring! Is there a tut for the spheres?

Another beauty! It's incredible what you do with TIA and Julia. But what truly amazes me is how you make the sphere so planetlike with one side in the light and one side losing in the dark. V
