Description

Vue 5. Experimenting with procedural terrains. This is again one terrain and one material (but a complex one).I had to try many render until all effects were almost ok : different textures on the ground, different colors of the water due to depth, shore effect, waves and stream impression .... Not as good as Terragen I think , but I was able to insert an object ... a lightouse by Alain Gracia ... yes I know... very small :-)

For me the white areas on the land are difficult to interpret - water is outstanding, quite real, and that light house really snaps everything into perspective!

Very interesting. I don't know much about procedural terrains but this one looks realistic to me. I hope you experiment some with these.

Intessant cette recherche, je te retrouve bien l..pour la mer cela me semble rssi au niveau des effets de vagues et de courant...pour la terre, les zones de sables disperss qui font un effet de thes gent la "lecture" des iles...le phare est bien vu pour l'helle des ilots! Bravo pour ta recherche et les dails!

Merci pour les commentaires... mmhh ... je crois que je vais refaire l'image avec une texture plus neutre du terrain ... Thanks for comments ... I will remake this pic with another texture for the terrain

Experience tres realiste! Les formes des ilots sont supers et l'eau est fantastique! J'sile biel les petits plages cre ici aussi. L'addition de la phare est tr sympa. Super travail, Patrick!
