Description

This is the original Leanach Cottage, on Culloden Battlefield, which survived the battle being fought around it, has been restored several times and is now open to the public. 32 wounded Jacobites were burnt alive in one of the other now vanished outbuildings by Cumberland's Soldiers. Thanks for all interest and spended time here! ;o)

It is such a pleasure to see all of this history in your shots, an amazin image, and I am please that they keep this in such good condition, so that many people can have an idea of what happened here, and how time was back then.
