Description


This is the original Leanach Cottage, on Culloden Battlefield, which survived the battle being fought around it, has been restored several times and is now open to the public. 32 wounded Jacobites were burnt alive in one of the other now vanished outbuildings by Cumberland's Soldiers. Thanks for all interest and spended time here! ;o)

Classic! The border could be less intrusive though. This must be the house from the Diana Gabaldon Outlander books where Jamie Frazier lay wounded after the Battle of Culloden. Awsome to see it in real life!
