Lovely work, Carol. Very creative effects here. The lighting from the bottom is a brilliant and creative approach; it very effectively produces intriguing contrasts and defines the flame forms in an unusual and intriguing way. It also produces a nice sense of depth and height in the image, I am reminded strongly of the beautiful rock formations on my trips through underground caverns; particularly the Luray Caverns in Virginia. The very natural and earthy palette really reinforces that sense for me. Powerful and very appealing imagery (including the image within an image that took me a while to like)! VOTE
