Just wanted to test how metaballs behave as terrains - they're working excellent, I used about 80 of them here. Except the figures, the eye and the cloud plane got everything the same texture, with different bumps, scales and orientations. And yes, I'm quite aware the eyeball is much too big ... umps ...

Creative concept with nice use of textures. Don't really think the eye & the figures work that well, though - I think this would have been a stronger composition without them.
