Oh, Bev. I've so waited for this! - If we only remembered to listen they definitely tell us the truth. - This new brilliant painting of yours has reached a new level, as well aesthetically as in interpretation of the world we live. Now they are talking to each other; and they all live with the history, this day (the colours!). The raven is so strong, powerfull, and the lady is so calm; her eyes know! Eventhough there are little nasty things, the freedom can't be defeated. We are free. - And also I think you are a better painter than ever (if possible!) - you really follow Leonardo's path with your artistic skills and view. I'm so moved. I could praise this image from dusk to dawn; I could tell stories, even write novels or poems of this but maybe I just have to leave it for later :-) You are... the best! hugs

oh my god bev... hmmm... thanks for this gift... i still have to watch... and to look at it... dunno... speechless once more... i like a lot the tension in this one... the face... and the raven... the white and black birds coming from - i know... yeah - and well the spider - loads of symbols here... and perfectly done...! and the combination of illustration and painting is cool - i admire that... it looks balanced but makes it interesting at the same time... okay okay - sorry for my mumbling... i guess i'm still too impressed... i love this one... hugset hugs

It sure has to be a profound hiatus from you HUGS but I'm so glad you've broken it now! Cass said it'd be imminent but I wasn't expecting quite this imminent! I have to admit my heart started beating even as the picture unfolded with download, as I prepared to be bowled over in the sweetest possible way! First of all I see the foundation was your Illustrator piece for last month's theme image, a good place to start! Colour is employed like no one else I know here. Overall it's as hard to convey my thoughts and feelings as it usually is with you, it bypasses straight to the subconscious and sits and unfolds there, sending little messages that can only be understood on that level, a common feeling of shared humanity perhaps? That's how hard it is to put it into words, so I think I'll just give you the best compliment by shutting up LOL! Great to see you back Bev HUGS :-D

Your talents leave me perpetually amazed Bev. When the ebot came knocking, letting me know that you uploaded something new... I was already preparing to be blown away. As always you managed to deliver. This is yet another stunning masterwork. Thank you so much for sharing this with us... viewing this was the perfect way for me to start my day!

I think I've finally found some speech after emerging from this incredible journey that enveloped me the moment your image finished loading. Such light, a stunningly fine balance between the delicate and the powerful woven together to have the viewer find the title - this image's grasp upon my conscious takes it away, a hiatus to somewhere indescibably profound. Thank you so very much for finding how to create this masterpiece and sharing it with all of us HUGEST HUGS

You followed your birds....and I bow for your talent! After all said above it is only for me to agree from the bottom of my heart (and my den). Those eyes penetrate my soul, and your raven is a black jewel, and the whole etches itself into my heart!

It's a pleasure to see your paintings again, always thought-provoking and skillful! I admire your technique but even more I admire your ability to build fresh themes =) What I find new in this piece is combining vector-like birds with detailed paintwork. I like it!

Did you have noticed the tension of waiting in comments above? Because I was aware that you are preparing another painting, I was waiting impatiently and preparing for celebration of art. I never thought that painting could unleash such strong emotions: heart is beating like crazy; eyes are trying to overwhelm every detail in one moment. I had to take deep gasp of air when I saw it for the very first time. Feels like Formula 1 driver during a race! LOL. I like parts created in Illustrator combined with Painter/Photoshop drawings. You managed to avoid clinical purity of vector graphics and entire combination is stunning. Writing about composition and technique is pointless here. First: because those are perfect, and second: because it is very good material for some kind of book. Its hard to get everything in one piece when you have to write just a comment, my one should be combination of all things wrote above. I would only add a word about the light. I like the way it plays with shadow and colour. Its not very often spotted such balanced light and shadow amount, I think most of the cases it is lost somewhere in digital graphics meanders. Here we have example of DG painting lead to perfection, what can I say more? Im under impression, you put digital arts on far higher level ever.

Another spectacular image in a long line of excellence. I don't use the word lightly when I say that you are a profound artist who creates thought-provoking images that, while remaining extremely personal, evoke deep emotions in others. The comments you have received are a testament to your magnificence. Superlatives galore. No {8(|)s.
