Description

Its been a looonng time since I posted anything because since my last post I started a new job which has been taking up most of my time. Have finally be able to free up myself a bit so I can get back into lightwave. This piece started out as a little something to get me back in the groove but I ended up learning alot of new stuff about modelling etc along the way. Still have one or two improvements to make but I think a will take a break from this one for now. As always constructive comments and suggestions welcome. Thanks for viewing Malakh

really an exceptional modeling job there buddy! lots of detail. I also really like the color scheme. my only crit is the texture. not the color. he grime looks very smooth and airbrush like. the spec seems very even throughout the model. maybe try differrent levels of spec on different parts? also, make the grime parts less specular. maybe even throw a procedual over the whole paint job to break it up a bit. like fingerprints and such. other than that...truely an amazing piece!!!

Thanks for all the great comments. Petes, special thanks for the advice. I agree with you about the texture. I'm still feeling my way when it comes to texturing so the advice is appreciated.

Really excellent. I'm a bit biased as I love anything Sci-Fi, but the design is really, really great!
