Description

Trying to do a replica of Boyd Coddington's car. Took my '34 Ford coupe and removed the roof, and changed the body to make it a roadster. Still needs some work.

Not bad so far! Perhaps use a few more polys, and maybe raise that front fender(?) on the tires up a little to match the image. That's all I can say, except looking excellent so far!

lookin good so far roy. i think your in need of a good reflection map to make the paint come alive. could you use an image probe to render? or at least use area light with a spherical reflection map. other than that...looking good!

You got it Dick! I think it was the first car they did. I need to go find my tapes of those shows and watch'em again. Like most of the guys in his shop, I don't like the color combination ether, but hey, I'm doing a "replica" :)

I'm guessing this car was made for a Blue Angels pilot. Who else would dig this color scheme?
