Firstly, That is a truly amazing image. I'm Very much impressed by it. However The edges of the lower down pointing, shape in it have some grainy edges to them, im sure they're meant to be there, but they do stand out against the black background, and against the otherwise smooth gradients and curves. So you end up with these real nice coppers and smooth flowing lines, and then bang, white stuff. Its a fanastic image, but yeah, helpful comments. I dont think saying 'lolgreat picture' does anyone any good ^^

in defense of Tristana, the tittle says chrysalides and I see that in the lower part of the flower.. Maybe the rest of the picture is too elegant for the rough edges of crystalides.. Still a fantastic picture.

Beautiful image...let me say that a fractal is just that...a fractal. If you rework it in a photo program to look like something else, then it is a mixed medium image. This is a beautiful find from the fractal realm. Wings, I believe are most often fragile and almost transparent. They ARE a distinct variation. Excellent.
