So very detailed...even the pollens are clear. And the post-work must have been a hard one, is it not so..? Beautiful...

Actually, the post work was very simple. First, I made a sepaerate copy of the original picture. Then I turned it to greyscale and copied it. Next, add the grey scale copy as a new layer over the original in Photoshop. I then added a mask to the greyscale layer. Using the airbrush tool set to a radius of 999 pixels and spacing at 25%, I began to mask out the greyscale in the middle, allowing the original color pic to "shine" through from behind. Lastly, add "signature", flatten layers, and save. Easy!!
