Description


Graphite on bond. A study of the horses head. Done while I was teaching myself to draw a horse. No post work on this. :) Enjoy!!

Great sketch and study ! .. You have so many details there .. Did you do your studies with real life horses .. or started with pictures of horses? Animals are really interesting to draw .. something I could need to study myself !

both zoo. Depends on the 'angle' I want to try. Sometimes a real life horse is actually easier than a text book study. Same for the human figure. I have tried many book studies and find that doing the human figure by looking at a picture is easier for me. Am horrid using those wooden figures too. :)
