I was reading last night how some investors from Holland put $3 million into the Kansas City Southern Railway through a former coffee merchant in the late 1800's. Then as a thank you many towns in Oklahoma got Dutch names including Amsterdam. The broker's wife's name was Mena so that is one of them. Just feeling the Mercantile.
