Description

-=Gallery Update=- This image is dedicated to the memory Debbie C. Bishop (Brycetech) who was very instrumental in it's creation and in my addiction to this wonderful little program. RIP, Debbie! Poly count goes over a million. Crashed windows twice and my hard drive once. Alas, the file is lost, but The image remains thanks to a friend that downloaded it for his desktop. Robots are entirely Booleaned in "Bryce2", Galaxy Backdrop created in Starbits7 (beta version), a really great little program created by my friend Chris Batchelor! ************ 2000 UPDATE: ************ Nominated/Finalist "Best New Brycer" at Delphi Forum's *Golden Tori Awards* ************ 2001 UPDATE: ************ This image was featured at TeraVision Studios and is responsible for me being the very first "Featured Artist of the month" there. Yes, this is Bryce "2", one of my first BIG renders. That's why it crashed my hard drive. I wanted to rebuild it, but was advised it was not needed. I've gone on to do bigger and better things in better versions of Bryce, but this is still my most award winning image. Ironic, huh? brUNO

Mainly, this was for Debbie. I miss her so much! She loved these lil' guys and that was enough for me. But, even Kai - himself - said this one pushed the envelopes of Bryce2. Martin Murphy said this was way out of his realm for the version(His encouragement and the permission to use his images on my website are a big bonus... and this one has collected some bonus!)! Because I was working in Bryce2, I got an anomymous package in the mail... Bryce4! All it said was, "Now see what you can do with this!" ...Well, I'm still trying to out-do this one! Thanx 4 stopping by! .... brUNO

Gotta love a Bryce robot. Sad story about the loss of your robot. I lost my robot in a similar way, and I think it was also Bryce 2. My bad, no fault for Bryce2, it was I who goofed up and put it in the trash by mistake. Suddenly, my SCSI bus started to act up, and before I knew it, had to install a new System which automagically emptied the trash. bye-bye robot. Thing is, you can remake that robot in half the time now. Thanks for the post!
