Hi all, thanks for the nice welcome and comments on the image. It's from a Julia of standard (unmolested) z^2+c and uses an erroneous colouring formula based on Periodicity for "inside" on one of the layers and 'vergence inside on one of the others. I'm still playing with a new colouring based on periodicity/trapping.
