Description

Wanted to do something a little simpler this time. Just some elements. And using a procedural terrain for the water. Who is who here? Lyne's Creations pelicans (ready poses); Warrwok's ship (RMP here); Guittas water material; Filip Stamate's sky; my splashes done from a Vue tree. Rest is me, Vue 5, my Mac and a little postwork to break the waves.

Oh my! What fantastic wave effects. I love that fisherman swooping down and that splash is superb. Lots of action here. 10++++

XLT work! Very cool idea, about using a tree for splashes...must make a mental note on that one. Well done :)

I don't want to be too pernickety but pelicans don't dive like that; they stretch out into a steamlined shape which allows them to enter the water without suffering too much impact. The birds in the air, and the ship, are great.

Postwork?!? Walther, what happened? ;P Very nice idea and especially a great job on the spray. Do you have a tut available for this. Could be quite useful for my current image. :)

Great scene, Walther. Bin erleichtert zu lesen, dass da Postwork dabei ist. Scheint aber nicht viel zu sein. Da muss ich wohl doch noch mal in die Schule gehen und mir den Terrain Editor genauer anschauen. Schief grins. :)

The contrast between the white sails of the ship and black wings of the birds creates a superb visual impact.. an excellent seascape Walther!
