Okay... i don't know why this image went so wrong...
The theme: a green, tropical bay. I'm uploading it here at renderosity for the single reason, to get help from you pro's on how i could improve this image :)

You may want to add some light coloured surface below the water level and somer darker green surfaces on the terrain. Lighten the trancperency colour of the water and do not set the transperencydepth to such a high value. ;-)

oh, I see it as a masterful work .. different yes, but not wrong. probably not waht you were looking for, but a cool expression of art.
