I like the idea but I think it could be brought further. Since you're working in a 3d environment with the letters why not have them facing different directions? That way it would be more of an interesting composition dimensionally versus a straight left to right read as it is currently. Also I would suggest you apply a circular alpha map material to the floor plane so you don't have those sharp annoying edges in the composition.
