Description

You see a photo from the gorge Hoellentalklamm (translated: hell valley gorge). The Hoellentalklamm is situated near Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, between the mountains Alpspitze and Zugspitze. The entrance of the gorge starts with a little tunnel at an altitude of 1040 m (3412 ft). The gorge is about 1,5 km long. You pass through the gorge following numerous tunnels, various steps, along tows and rock formations. Underneath the wild river, called Hammersbach. The end of the gorge is at an altitude of 1193 m (3914 ft). (Photo taken with Canon EOS 300D, September 2004) Thanks for looking.

Looks like a great trail. I like the way the water has smoothed the rock walls over.
