Highly manipulated photos (using PhotoPaint 8) with equally modified Poser figure. Horror or surrealism? Photography? Poser? Duncan, I really like the piece a lot! Definitely a killer book cover for either horror author or a writer of dark surrealism. A gem!

For my part, I think it could be a chiller, if the house wasn't so beautifully warm looking and wonderfully postworked. It remains an arresting image anyway.

Great use of textures to convey mood. To me it has nothing to do with horror, I see it as hesitation, a person returning to the home after many years,in dilema of going in or not. Great image!
