Description

The story of the Virgin Rose!!

The Rose is from my neighbors garden.  Their house faces the Sun and in the winters, it's a blessing not cause of the Sunshine they get but also cause of the bunch of Rose that grows on their unattended garden.

This morning my wife woke me up...... (the lazy bones I am, sleeping late for it was my weekend off) and showed me the Virgin Rose.  It stood apart from the rest of the bunch.  Totally fresh and the centre yet not unfolding, as if guarding itself.  (The image you see in the Centre is the one I am referring about).

After few fruitful shots, I went back to freshen up and when I came back.  I saw the  bees had woken up too and had started buzzing around the Rose.  The one you see on the collage was a very active one. First he circled around the flower not knowing where the fragrance was coming from..... from where to enter this beauty.  Finally he realized that he will have to work for his breakfast and he entered the flower and literally fought his way in.  At one point...... he was flat on his back after squeezing his way in having made a dent on the central protected wall.  Meticulously he worked on it till he had reached the inner core and had managed to move aside the petal  a bit and he could now make a straight entry to allow himself a tasty treat.

Now, what was I to do?  I stood their watching him and click.... click .........click.........about 50 snaps and when he finally made an exit..... I packed up too.;)  I had learnt a lesson for the day........ The fruits of hard labour.

Thanks for your views and comments on my post yesterday.....A JOB WELL DONE.
